Weekly Obsessions #3

Matt and I went on a little trip to Melbourne last week. For our travels I tried to pack light (if you know me you will understand how hard that is for me to do). I picked my top makeup bits, threw in some randoms and off we went. I reclaimed my love for the original Naked Palette!

Holy moly, what a godsend are nudes/basics palettes to a lazy makeup traveller such as myself. You would of heard it all before about this palette but the pigmentation, the quality and versatility is substantially epic. Go from day to night with the blending of Dark Horse &/or Smog. Would never travel without it. I use Naked and Buck most days now.

Model Co. Mascara. If the full name of this has rubbed off I'm sorry. This beauty came out of a magazine a while back and it was sitting, unopened, in my stash for months before I tried it out. Wish I tried it sooner! With two or three coats it volumizes and lengthens my lashes without clumping. Does get a little glumpy on the tip after a while but I guess you can't have it all.

Licorice tea! It's a bit random, I know. Have you ever tried it? I'm not a fan of licorice lollies and am truly surprised I ever tried this one. My sister-in-law gifted it to me. It's supposed to help with many things such as cellulite, asthma, tummy aches, headaches, sleep, hydration. It's practically a super tea, and I'm ticking all of the above.

At home Gel Nail Kits. Can't afford to go to the salon every few weeks? Why not invest in an at home nail kit. You can pick up the LED light box for around $30 on eBay via Australian sellers. I feel like I have mentioned my sister-in-law a lot these past few posts, buuuut she did do my nails using Bluesky Gel Nail Polish and it turned out amazing. They lasted three weeks without chipping, and the only reason they didn't last longer was because I (attempted to) take them off. They're stubborn polishes. I'm pretty hands on in life and at work (not limited to a keyboard) and very impressed with these products - not sponsored just in awe.
