Anyone who knows me (or watches my videos) will know I am a lover of pearls. Simple studs and a string around my wrist is my ideal 'statement' jewellery. Coming across a little stuffy, preppy and uptight maybe but I have been seeing pearls trending on the runway with some really cool designs a top of rings, along ear cuffs, clustered with diamonds, dangling from chokers giving the simple elegant pearl some street cred. Recently Cara Delevingne modelled an ad campaign (Dior?) wearing double sided pearl studs (something I would definitely be investing in).

Don't worry if you want to rock this trend but don't have the moolah to back it. Nasty gal and heaps of other chain stores are bursting with trendy pieces for dirt cheap. Or get creative and make your own one of a kind pieces. Hobby Lobby/Spotlight have all you need to create something fun.
