Don't forget to pop into those small boutiques or quirky stores you might walk straight past on your travels. Majority of my wardrobe are from stores such as these.
Half the stores only sell up to 5 of the same items and usually that's one item per size ranging from a 6 - 14. Perfect for the person who wants something no-one else in their social group might have.






This dress is one of my most favourite purchases and goes with so many things/events. Black and white horizontal stripes is something I would never go for, unless it's my jogging sweater. The sales assistant picked it out for me. The fabric is smocked viscose from the brand JV Selection Australia. Very stretchy and super comfortable.

I purchased this from the Australian boutique Felt Clothing in Bermagui, they also have a Canberra store. They are a small business and really have an eye for fashion, in the business for over 13 years so one would expect. In the summer time the Bermagui store has a wide variety of young adult to older ladies styles, whereas in the winter times they cut back to the older ladies style as that is their main market. Their Canberra store stocks all year round younger styles for men and women. It's fun, quirky and totally my style. They are always happy to have stuff I see on the Canberra Facebook page sent down to Bermagui for pick up when I visit. Safe to say their customer service is immaculate.

I do my best to link you to facebook pages, website or even add the managers email address if they have nothing else and beg them to at least get instagram! In my experience stores such as these already have a cult following and rarely need to promote, lucky them.
